January 19, 2012- The Media One Board meetings in Calgary were extremely successful with all units from coast to coast in attendance.

While Mark Cameron was acclaimed President, the Treasurer position is currently vacant with Mark Milne stepping down after several years of keeping an eye on the books. He will continue to manage our finances until a new Treasurer is appointed and elections for the position will be held at our next meetings In Victoria beginning May 2.

The board accomplished a number of key initiatives including the provision of funding assistance for smaller units and the passing of a surplus budget.

Another action undertaken by the board deals with this website. Your cepmediaone.ca website is going to look substantially different in the very near future. The Executive has already begun redesigning the site for greater functionality. Our goal is to get you the information faster with a more user friendly design.
